Studies on the brain in regard to yoga have found several benefits. In 2021, Harvard published on the health section of their website that studies of the brain have found those who use Yoga regularly compared to those who do not, had a thicker cerebral cortex (the area of processing information in the brain) when viewed on an MRI. They also report that Yoga can have a positive impact on the treatment of anxiety, depression, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

This training is going to teach you the purpose of using Yoga in mental health treatment, discuss case examples and show some of the basic techniques used during treatment.
